Former Investigators of the BioDelivery Center
David Sabaté Rovira, Research Assistant My research focuses on the design, fabrication and characterization of model cell membranes on structures 3D-printed by using two-photon polymerization method. My background is in materials engineering and I am currently majoring in polymers technology (more information). |
David Schultz, Master Student |
Ditlev Birch, Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Fellow I am a pharmacist specialized in in vitro cell models for studying the epithelial permeation, cellular uptake and cellular distribution of peptide and protein drugs mediated by cell-penetrating peptides. In order to achieve this, I employ cell-based methodologies combined with advanced microscopy and bioanalysis. |
Guillaume Amouroux, Postdoctoral Fellow I am a biologist specialized in anti-cancer drug testing. My research comprises the evaluation of radiolabeled biomolecules, especially peptides and proteins, by quantitative imaging (PET/SPECT/CT) in in vitro and in vivo models (more information). |
Johan Gätke, Scholar Student |
Manto Chouliara, Master Student and Research Assistant My research focuses on the fabrication of microtools and on their optical manipulation in order to investigate the function of novel excipients at a molecule/DDS-to-single cell level in a dynamic situation. |
Natalia Christiansen, Project Coordinator Natalia was providing project support to the center, organizing seminars and project meetings. She has also created the webpage biodelivery.ku.dk and was in charge of the center's communication and dissemination. |
Nuria del Castillo Iniesta, Research Assistant My research focuses on the design, fabrication and characterization of micro- and nano structures for various biomedical studies. My background is in physics and nanotechnology, and I am generally very interested in technologies that can be used to innovate the pharmaceutical or medical fields, such as lab-on-a-chip. |
Sofie Fogh Hedegaard, Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Fellow My research interest encompasses the vast potentials within drug delivery of biopharmaceuticals. My main expertise is within biophysical investigations of molecular interactions, with a specific focus on membrane interaction of cell-penetrating peptides. |
